Chuck’s Corporate Background

When Chuck first came to me, he was maxed out time-wise. He held a C-suite position as a Chief Compliance Officer for a hospital. When the regulations around Covid started to emerge, his job had become a total nightmare. He was working ten hour days, inundated with new regulations, constant meetings, and became totally burnt out despite a well paying career. But if he wanted to leave his position as a C-suite, he needed to make consistent cash flow and revenue to replace his salary so he could feel confident that he could provide for his family. 

In Chuck’s words, he wanted proof-of-concept, “I want to turn my side gig into my full-time gig.” So that is what we did.

The next step to take Chuck from a side hustle to become a six to seven figure business owner was packaging his offer. 

Many coaches and consultants that come to me are stuck, whether it’s at $50,000 or half a million, because they undervalue and undercharge for their time. They could have tons of experience, yet they may find it difficult to transition their knowledge and expertise into a new business. Or they may be an established business owner, but need help to get to the next level. By helping them codify their expertise and rework their pricing strategies, they are able to transition from corporate to a full-time business owner or take their established business to a new level.

It is so common for coaches and consultants to underprice their services. Part of the reason is they may not know what they can charge so there is a lack of awareness about what the market will pay. The other side is a bit of imposter syndrome or some issues around their self worth. They ask themselves, “Can I charge this much?” “Will people pay me?” or “Do I know enough?”
